Could be a die attrition error like my 1945 P but honestly not sure.

Thanks Stoneman, I can definitely see where that could be the case.

It looks as if the reverse die shattered and parts of it imprinted on the obverse die face?

They are called concentric die scratches. Note how they follow the rim area? Something damaged the die face. The die gouges below the bust is also die damage. They are seen on different varieties of attributed cents. But more of a use as a marker, not a premium for the coin. It is not die attrition as this is caused by the die being out of the correct alignment, making the rim/die edge go away moving the rim closer to the devices.

Thanks Mr. Coop. The striations in the Die indents kind of make me think that the reverse die may have shattered and the pieces imprinted on the obverse die face. It is definitely a die gouge of some sort. I guess what is making me think that the reverse die face shattered was all the years I ran a machine press and seeing what shattered dies look like. I can't thank John1 enough for pointing that area out. That taught me a valuable lesson to start looking there first then work my way up.

Jim0815, I would keep it still, wether it has a premium or not. It's a cool find.
