I received this beauty today back in change... for it's age it looks to be in really good condition. This is the first Indian head I have come across in circulation!

Very cool. If I were to guess at the history of that coin, I'd say it was polished severely by a novice collector, then someone decided to salvage the surfaces by making it a pocket piece for a while to restore a somewhat circulated surface. One day it was accidentally spent and circulated until it found its way to you!
