1944 P LWC This One Has A Different Sound.

In my grandfather's collection is this very common 1944 P LWC. For all purposes sake it is a very plain cent, weighs 3.05 grams. Almost every one of the 1944 cents that I have are darker in color so the coloration really is a non factor here. The factor here is it has a very high pitch ring when doing a drop test. Granted all 1944 cents have a ring to them as we all know. When conducting this six inch dropped test I used five different 1944 cents and three 1942 cents. The four 1944 cents,(the other 1944 cent is the one in question), had a duller sounding ring. The 1944 that I have a question about has the same high pitch ring as the three 1942 cents. My question is this, could this 1944 cent be from a pre war planchet? I know that pre war metal composition is 95% copper 5% tin and zinc, from 1944-1946 the metal composition is 95% brass(shell case copper) and 5% tin. If it is a pre war planchet, is it something that is common? It may be nothing but I ran this test twice through with the same results.
