I checked NGC Variety Vista and ruled out the S/S versions of

FS-101,
VP-002 &
VP-003

which left me with only the

1942 S/S/S FS-512 1C

which has no photos anywhere on the Internet.

Here is only my mm for now.

Unless absolutely needed I'll hold off on full obv and rev shots since it's in a slab difficult to photograph etc.

It may be interesting to show the closest example from HA but it's not an FS-501; it's an FS-101/301( DDO & RPM) but its mm appears similar to mine:

That looks like RPM-008. It's not listed on NGC Variety Plus.

After looking at the RPM-008 from Variety Vista it looks like my mm but mine does not have any major object(s) west of itself.

In fact, the portion I encircled in green on Variety Vista's example is not present at all on mine.

There is a very, very thin hairline scratch in the position and length represented by the thicker red line I drew. My red line's thickness relatively speaking is about 200% thicker compared to what I can physically see under the slab.

I cannot photograph it with any meaningful shots because of the distortion from the plastic slab...

How would that change the call from an RPM-008 if at all. Please elaborate.?

After further review I would disregard the HA photo I initially posted.

RPM-008 is a S/S/S because of the obvious extra punch to the south and the separation line on the upper left curve indicating a third punch. (The third punch is not too obvious).

The small lines to the left of the mintmark you circled in that image are just small die scratches. They can be easily be removed from the die and they likely do not exist on all die states. Your coin could either be an earlier die state where the die scratch did not form yet or a later die state where the die scratch was either removed or obscured by light Die Deterioration.
