The date looks like strong die abrasion doubling, similar to the 1971 " DDO" that was debunked a few years ago.

Bate, I think this is definitely worth saving, since it's a great example of Abrasion Doubling.

1967 WDDO-001 is a Special Mint Set (SMS) coin, so that wouldn't be a match.
