There were no 'S' mint mark puunchs used from 1956-1968.

I'm curious about the vertical bar inside the mint mark.  I don't know if this could be 1964D-1mm-033 on coppercoins.com or another RPM (or nothing at all). It's at least worth seeing what others think about this.

Probably old fading die scratches. Note below the mint there are several ends of die scratches there.

If you rotate the coin 90 Degrees counter-clock wise, it may show the fading die scratches. I've seen this in the past and could still spot the faded die scratch above the mint mark area.

I see what the OP is talking about. Looks like MMS-008 to the T. Which would have been the most recent MMS.
