Generally its a metal for the cheapest and lowest denominations. Princetane Pillar of the Community 4628 Posts	Posted 04/08/2022 02:33 am Some more, an Austrian 10 Groschen, a common coin - but this is a quite nice one. Also compared to a lot of low value aluminium coins which have cheap and basic designs, this is pretty nice (I have a soft spot for Austria having loved my visit there in 2014) 50 Xu/Su South Vietnam - this is also a fairly large and elaborate aluminium piece. Its a nice coin I think. Italy 10 Lire - another coin I like when its high grade, quite an elaborate design for a cheap coin. It is not all bling bling 200 year silver halfcrowns with me Pakistan - 1 paise - another tiny low value piece, but a beautiful design - nice Islamic calligraphy that does follow the rules of no graven images in Islamic art. Malta 3 mils 1972 - another nice design and quite complex for a low value piece with an interesting edge, I like the bee and honeycomb design. A lot of these coins are very nice in my opinion, you don't need bling or high value pieces to get some cute coins! Report this Post to the Staff
