I beleive this is a sheild Cud? Would I be correct? Upper topleft side.

It is a Die Chip. The Cud always involve's the Rim. Below is an example of one previously posted by a member.

Thank you for the info! I have about 15 of them between the Denver and Philidelhia mint. Are these coins keepers or change?

If they are Like the one in the picture, a true Cud are collectible, the one you have posted have no additional premium.

These Die Chips are very common on the Lincoln Shield Cents.

Why are Cuds worth more? Well I die chip can been seen on all coin after the chip happens. There maybe 500,000 of them if the die chips earlier. If the die chip happens later, maybe 250,000 coins struck with the same one. But a Die Cud is probably less than 100 as they retire the dies quicker. So with possibly 100 coins compared to 250K-500K die chipped coin examples, you can see which one is going to have a better premium. A Die Cud can be small:

Or they can be huge:

So the bigger Cuds will be worth more.
