Does the coin look original? Is the coin correctly graded? Do you like the coin? I have $200 in ebay Bucks burning a hole in my pocket, and I would get a $100 more if I made the purchase. See link below.

I don't know about the coin but I'm always worried by business sellers that have an ebay shop with only one item.

It's not normal.

Will they be there tomorrow ?

That's a nice coin. Looks original and correctly graded to me. Maybe you could offer them a little less? ebay bucks offer lasts through tomorrow, so you have a little time. Return policy is good too.

Looks attractive to me as well, but it's hardly an area of expertise for me.

I don't know anything about these but PCGS says it's worth $2,500. Would be more believable if they had a pic of it to compare. I'm always nervous about someone selling something for less than value, like, what's wrong with it? IMHO

$1799 is a fair asking price, and I'd be more comfortable around 1500-1600. The two most recent sales at Heritage sold for that, although the previous sales sold for a bit more. The PCGS price is high, which is normal for them.

The coin appears to be price range of recent sales. Here is one to compare to, but it is not the same variety. The coin below sold this month for $1800.

I agree that $1799 is a fair asking price, but the S-232 is a common variety, and I always ask if a seller is a little flexible on the price....but that's just me.

Lovely coin, fairly common variety but in good condition. I would offer $1550 and work up from there, and be comforted by the fact that I'm not likely to lose any money on the deal in the future if I had to sell it.

Thanks for the comments.

I got close to making an offer on the 1802 Large Cent, but I chickened out because it was too much money. I spent my $200 ebay bucks and a little cash on the gold quarter eagle below.

I like the gold as well, it's really nice for a 62.
