I think the date, mint mark, in God we trust, and liberty is double. Any help is appreciated.

Part of it is caused by lighting issues. I think I can see some Machine Doubling.

That is Die Deterioration. Die wear/deterioration flows to the rim direction. On all the areas you are looking at, it is flow towards the rim. Date to the right, LIBERTY to the left and the motto towards the rims on all the tops of the devices. Not Machine Doubling, not a doubled die but it is Die Deterioration. First coin with all showing. Most of the time it is just on the date or LIBERTY or on the tops of the motto devices. But yours shows it on all the devices, towards the closest rim. Die Deterioration.

Another clue. None of the devices are enlarged as DDD affects the fields. None of the devices are reduced so it is not Machine Doubling. it is #3. Die Deterioration Doubling. ( DDD)
Why doesn't it show on the reverse? Because the reverse die is a fresher die. It hasn't started to breakdown yet.

When you see the devices reaching towards the rims, it is the dreaded ' DDD'.
When it is affected on devices facing the center/or all in a certain direction, it is usually MD.
If it affects the outside edge of some devices and inside edges on other devices, it could be MD.
But when the devices are enlarged in the center of the devices, then it is a doubled die.
Also forget look at the edges of devices because that is where MD happens.
Look at the center of the devices to find the prize winners.
If the devices do not look rounded the right way, or irregular in shape. Then look closer at those.

I would like to see a new set of images on this one for my educational files. The color is strange. But Maybe I can fix it though. Let me try first. The color is pretty so far off, I can't bring it back. Even making it B/W couldn't restore it.
