Survived the bat meetings and I'm back.

Got a roll of UNC 1943-S for twenty bucks and just took a look. Not too much going on but I had never seen an RPM-002 before and it's pretty darn nice. Glad to have found it.

Somewhere someplace I remember hearing this one called the Devil Horned S. Now I see why if you turn it a certain way in the light. Amusing.

Fantastic example! Your coin has really clean fields, and that shows off the die markers, too. I think I see the third reverse marker, the crack from OF through the bottom of the left wheat stalk. That might make your coin a bridge between stage B and stage C. Very cool!

Yes, the coin has all three radial die cracks on the reverse. I put it at stage B as it does not have the obverse die crack on the coat/vest.

I totally agree with Stage B. It's interesting seeing coins that show the die progression. Thanks for sharing this one with us!
