Hello all, I'm new to coin collecting and found this 1960 penny and I was wondering if the 0 in 1960 as well as the letter B in liberty seemed pressed down or is it just wear and tear? It's the penny on the right.

I don't know for sure, but those areas look to be flattened by contact.

I agree both seem to be LD. The coin to the right seems to show signs of coin wrapper or vending machine damage from 1:00 - 3:00 as well. Thanks, Doug.

On the Large date over the small date it shows both and with a RPM on the mint mark. How can you tell it is a large over a small date? "The Zero in the date:

Note the size of that digit.
Your two are normal 1960 LD-D cents with coin contact on them.
