I am not very good at identifying Chinese fakes, but for those that are, I'm pretty sure that they would want to see both sides. It may take some time for you to get your answer, but hopefully they will provide an opinion in the next few days. It imitates a Nie Jin spade with ears, but the general shape, patina, calligraphy and surfaces are all wrong. I've seen this exact type of imitation somewhere before, but can't remember where at the moment. Report this Post to the Staff

Makes a good display and it still gives me a fond memory on the first antique-looked ornament I got from China when I was a kid.
