Sap Moderator Australia 16912 Posts	Posted 01/22/2019 5:10 pm The "Scimitar" is actually in an oval-shaped counterstamp, with either Arabic or Sassanian script inside; I can't tell if it's an actual counterstamp, or just part of the design that's been made to look like a counterstamp. The "man with skirt" is definitely Kushan-inspired, and I think I cna make out a horse-and-rider - or perhaps an elephant-and-rider - on the other side. So I'm going to go for "Kushan imitative" - perhaps from this series from Gandhara. I'm sure the expert in coinage of this region and period will be along to comment.
