Looks like a piece floating over the devices. Thin as foil, but is probably a struck through debris on the coins field that has moved. (Note how you can see the cutout of the 'O' on GOD)

interesting... yah, I would second that motion to obtain a clip-on magnifying thingie for your igadget. they're very helpful.

good eye! hope you find more interesting things in those jars. searching jars of saved change is one of my favorite things to do.

There is a depressed area between GOD and WE that roughly matches the object over GOD but I can't tell if there is any lamination.
