I have inherited a few jars of coins and have been going through them with a fine tooth comb. I have discovered a penny that I believe has an error. Unfortunately, I have only gotten one response. I was wondering how I could generate more views of my coin to gain some information. Thanks. *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

Welcome to the forum. That image is a good start but we need more. Image of the obverse, reverse and closeups of the area in question.
Also a brief description of what you believe the issue is that you are seeing. Thanks again.

@KG, I've asked the mods to move this thread to a better section of CCF to get those eyeballs on it. In the meanwhile, I agree that a close-up pic of GOD would be useful. When I enlarge and enhance the current pic, it is a little pixelated to see what is going on here.

I can't seem to get a better picture. That's the best my phone will do.

That could be a connect lamination peel or a struck through debris from the rim area?

Does it appear to be on the edge of the coin? What is it's weight?

Does the anomaly appear to extend onto the edge? What is the weight of the coin? Can you post a picture of the edge area closest to the anomaly? It will help. to the CCF!

I can not get a close up of the edge to upload into the website. The only way for me to get a picture of a close up is to take a screenshot and the site won't upload my screenshots. It does not appear to me that it really extends into the edge. It seems to go into the D. I am working on trying to find someone that might have a scale that can weigh it.
