If it is such a worn coin why the huge rims and "ONE CENT" is pronounced? Just asking an obvious question.......

Not sure about the wide rim.
The reverse One Cent is marked sharply for die pie 1 with a die crack across it.
see following PCGS AU50 example.

No question Die Pair #1, but grade - I'll say VG-08, but this is such an oddball coin, who knows what the TPG might say.

F-VF These are not graded the same as any other Lincolns. The dies should have been retired way before any "plain" coins were minted. You can still see lines in the wheat ears, and the strength of the rims at 6 o'clock on the obverse and 12 o'clock on the reverse. Based on the wear on the ONE and NT of CENT I think it should make F15. In addition to the definition still left in the die crack and the first T in TRUST. The hits where the D should be are troublesome, as any evidence of a D would make it a weak D. This can not always be seen with a single lighting in one photograph. Grading it would be tough because of them.

Ed

I agree that grading of 22D weak or no D date is very different from other years.
