OK. I wouldn't soak it in acetone. There are stains on the plating. A coin that has a premium I'd never attempt anything on them. Best to leave as normal. If you do something you regret, you just have to keep kicking yourself.

If you find other common cents with the same issue, you might try acetone on them to see if it would help or hinder the coins condition. Stains just don't do away most times.
