chafemasterj Pillar of the Community United States 6514 Posts	Posted 01/26/2019 11:53 am I Have an Oregon Trail Commemorative Half Dollar with some really unfortunate toning. I'll post pictures a little later when I'm by my laptop. My question is: If I wanted to clean the coin and give it a second chance to tone nicely. How would you recommend me doing it. I'm not too concerned with the devaluation of a cleaned coin. I think it'd grade okay, not fantastic, it's just seriously lacking in eye appeal. I know I'm using the 'C' word. Thanks in advance for any advice. I haven"t looked at the coin in a while. Forgot about the edge damage. The reverse imho looks pretty good, it's the obverse that is fugly.
