Planning on liquidating my collection this year. I sent in a few coins for grading. They were to do Tru-View but didn't. Here's the coin in question.

Numismedia lists this at 6K if it wasn't details. If this was yours, how much would you ask and any suggestions as to my best way to sell. I don't want to deal with ebay. Has anybody sent anything to Great Collections and if so, was it a good experience? Any suggestions or input will be greatly appreciated.

You are going to take a hit because of the UNC cleaned details. A MS 61 has been selling in the range of 4K to 5K. Not many UNC Details comps for the date, the last one sold in a NGC holder in 2015 for $1700. My guess the coin is going to sell in the 2.5K to 3K range. It is a nice looking coin in the photo and it does not look cleaned. What holder is the coin in? If the coin does not have obvious hairlines, have you considered cracking and resubmitting?

If you do not want to sell on ebay, Great Collection is an excellent option and the overall fees are comparable to what you would pay on ebay. You have different options on the starting auction price at GC. It appears that GC has been picking up some of the market share from Heritage because of the high selling fees at Heritage.

Slider - thanks for the reply. It's in a PCGS slab,
6933.92/34257658. I don't want to crack out & resubmit. I would be happy to let it go for $1K to a forum member. Otherwise, I will give GC a shot.
