Is it just me or is the "w" smaller than the "e" in "we" is this common?

I don't see how the E could be larger than it is supposed to be, so that means the W is smaller than it should be. That could be explained by die wear or polishing. I'm not sure in this case. TRUST also appears to be of a smaller font than IN GOD. Die polishing is my best guess.

Or coin contact that damaged the coin. Coin wrapper can damage coins. If the profile is reduced, this could be the case.
