For the first question, I use the Tools button (right below the top banner ad), then My Topics. This will list all your posts within a specific time frame and the latest response and date.
For the second question, it's just a flat discussion thread. You don't really reply to a specific post. A couple things I have seen people do:
Use @Kenkat to indicate you are replying to a specific poster
Use the quote function. Copy the text you want to refer to and put it in quote tags using the Page with the Red Arrow button in the format line. You can only do this if you use Full Reply, not Quick Reply.
