In honesty, I'm new to this aspect of the hobby. Pulled these possible errors from coin rolls and used internet info to tentatively identify them. Would love any help clarifying further! This Roosevelt dime is jacked! Would you consider it a grease strike through error on both sides?
The Drum looks awful soft on this guy doesn't it?
With the dark color on this guy is it possible that it is struck from a different alloy?
This seems common. Just looking for confirmation.
This one has a different cut across the neck and cowboy arm.
Cant figure out anything about this one, however it doesn't look like Post-Mint Damage.
Broad Strike? Anyone seen another one from this year?
That extra cactus is convincing no?
Anyways thanks for any and all responses. Would love some feedback before I post in the future about how I formatted this thread.
to CCF. Should limit coins to 1 or 2 per post. Dime has been heated,so PSD Post Strike Damage. 76 quarter, common weak area and or Grease Filled Die,common. 99 quarter, circulation toning. 07 quarter looks normal to me 2000 quarter just PSD 85 quarter,PSD,maybe a slot machine coin or just someone with too much time on their hands 08 quarter,is a die chip, somewhat common John1
Thanks John1. I appreciate the looks. There are 2 2007 quarters and the top one looks very much like a DDR that I have seen online. The Saddle horn double die is quite well known no?
