1934-D Washington Quarter Is This The Small D Variety?

Your coin is quite worn, so it may look like a small D, but it probably just shrunk after all the wear over the years. Wait for others to chime in and see what they think. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/02/2019 2:09 pm But consider the coin wear, the upper part of the mint mark has worn down and now looks thinner. Also the example you are comparing it with has a broken post, making the center opening on the 'D' to look thicker. Report this Post to the Staff
ccobb Valued Member United States 485 Posts	Posted 02/03/2019 12:18 am Thanks guys! and I "found" the quarters in my collection of old quarters that I just sorted through! Going to try to go through the 40's, 50's,and 60's tomorrow. The teens ,20's and 30's were def in the worst condition but I did see a few nice ones. I still don't know how to tell if I have a proof ! any advice welcomed! Report this Post to the Staff
