So I have just recently started coin collecting it was silver that got me into the hobby but then I realized how fun it is. Now that I've been "finding stuff" I was wondering if you all can tell me what's up with this or if I'm just making stuff up the one has no rim or a ghost of a rim, one has a weird outline around Roosevelt's head and the other the 6's dont match. thank you all in advance

to the CCF! The 6 is flattened from circulation damage or coin wrapper machine damage. The rim is just a very slight mid-aligned die strike, and that doesn't have any premium. They are very common on dimes. The rim also shows signs of wear and circulation damage. This coin looks like it just went through some rough times. In my opinion, it's not a keeper. Happy hunting! -CH27

The 1985 dimes from both mints are looking like this. Probably the most asked question on a dime is about the 1985-P & D. When so many looks like this, they are common and have no premium for these.

if you look at your 66 trust you can see it was dragged across the ground or something like that .when you post pics try to have them up and down and both sides of the whole coin , and a close up of what you want to show us. and one coin per post. thanks for sharing and good luck and happy hunting
