Hello,

Can anyone help me with these nickles.
Still new to this, been trying to do research
I don't want to look stupid. Lol.

The pictures don't do justice to the coins. to the naked eye they appear almost normal.

I will throw my guess out there - capped die, strike error?

Now y'all can tell me how wrong I am... Thank you

Your pics are not quite clear and in focus. However, the top looks like a parking lot coin and the bottom I can not see much of anything but wear on it.

Clear pictures would be needed to really make some kind of assessment.

Looks like just damaged pocket change to me. I really don't see how they can look normal to the naked eye, they're obviously severely beat up.

Thank you for response.

Actually it did not say that they looked normal I believe I said they looked almost normal.

Is it helpful for anyone to learn when you question the validity of a factual statement made about a visual description of a coin.

I have no reference or knowledge to any of the different types of errors which is why I ask for help and although I don't know this I do know what coins look like.

Thank you

Sorry, but those coins are beat up, it's obvious. In every picture they look like they've been chewed up and spit out.

There are no mint errors. They look like they may have even been in the ground at some point.
