I have a bunch of french coins....1 franc, 2 francs, 10 francs and 20 francs from the 1930's to 1990's. I would like to assign a value to these coins and possibly sell them but do not have a world coin book to find their values. I do not want to go buy a world coin book ($50+) just to sell off the world coins and end up with a book I don't need. I was hoping someone is able to give me a link that will tell me the values for each year and grade if possible.

I tried looking on ebay but the prices are all over the map.

thanks
malissa

1 Franc post-1960 $0.20-0.50 XF/UNC. Prices higher for low mintage 1979-1990.

2 Franc post-1979 $0.40-0.75 XF/UNC.

5 Franc 1960-1969 .3221oz silver Premium for UNC.
5 Franc post-1970 $1.00-3.00 XF/UNC.

10 Franc 1965-1973 .7234oz silver Premium for XF/UNC
10 Franc 1974-1987 $1.50-3.00 XF/UNC.

So says my world coin book from 2006. Prices aren't even listed for coins in grades below XF. For coins before the 1960s, maybe list each one and I can find out.

Go to https://www.cgb.fr. You should be able to find a lot of your coins for sale there with prices in euros. If you don't see them, there's a link there to Le Franc III, a standard but now dated French coin guide (prices are in francs, so it dates to around 2000 - at that time conversion was about 7F/1$US). The newer Franc VII is not on-line and will cost you a bit, but is worth it if you're getting into French coins.
