I can not post pictures at this time, so please assume that my grade is correct. I need to know the value of a 1935 Irish 1 shilling in at least EF grade.

thanks a bunch!

Krause gives this Irish Free State shilling a catalog value of 25 $ in EF (7 $ VF; 85 $ Unc). Mintage for this 1935 coin is 400,000

In the tougher British (or maybe Euro and some other U.S.) system VF is worth 10 and an EF 40 pounds. The $25 'Krause-style' seems to indicate the coin is in the VF-range within the Euro/Brit system (and you also have to factor in a stronger market closer to home making it worth slightly more in British/Irish auction houses), though if it's a high EF or aUNC grade in the other systems it acts more like the 'true' EF. So precise grading is important - we need photos!
