I see die cracks. And possibly double die Is my penny had to much used and abused to mean anything.

Yeah, pretty much a cent that has seen better days. Its worth face value IMO.

To be honest I think that you have a coin that's face value. But do not use it. Could be worth more in the future or it could be saved and used in a roll of 1943 pennies.

Environmental damage and corrosion, not worth much more than a cent but keep it for now since it's a steel cent. 76yrs old!

When I was young, we used to put bronze pennies on railroad tracks so the trains would flatten them. Has someone done that to your poor steel cent?
