Hello very smart coin people,

Definitely NOT a banged up coin and in very very good condition, lol...so, no Dryer Coin comments from the peanut gallery.

On the reverse, most of the columns, but especially the last 4 have raised rounded metal on top. Almost looks like pix of doubled die column remnants but not in between. There is evidence of smaller drips? on the other columns, also rounded. The obverse, has a raised die gouge? It isn't a cut and a trail of idk to the top of the ear.

Interesting coin. Any thoughts? Is it my million dollar coin? lol Momma needs a new car...

to the Community! I've seen many of those and those are die cracks that you're seeing. That is not a plating issue. No premium for those either. If you would please give the date, mintmark when posting about your coins. That helps us tremendously when figuring out what you may or may not have.

Is it from 1982? What date is it? On the reverse , you are seeing a bunch of Die Chips, along with die flow lines, from Die Deterioration, from the die starting to slowly break down. There's no premium over face for this coin, but you can still keep it, if you'd like.

Edit: Never mind. I know what the date is now. On the columns, those used to be Die Cracks, but are now forming into Die Chips.
