Hi, I am new to the forum and to error coins so I have a question regarding this forum. I have, what I think may be, a bicentennial quarter from Denver mint that may be a double die error.
Is it allowed that I show an image of the coin and the area thought to be doubled and get some of you fine folks to offer an opinion if what I see is actually a double die error or not?
If so, would this be the correct forum in which to post it? I will have to read the image posting requirements before I do so.
The coin is not in great shape. Here is an image of the area I think is doubled. The 6 appears to be doubled to the right. Is this just a worn down 6 or is it doubling?
