The 45 s posted is not IMM. It is also not the same as 1942 s IMM. The 45 has an inverted knob S while the 42 has a serif s. These are two
distinctly different mint marks. While the 45 s IMM does not create much excitement in the numismatic world, the momentum is growing. I have sold several over the years. Average price for a circulated example is $40. I have been getting closer to $100 for uncirculated examples. From my own research I have concluded that the IMM is scarcer than the Micro and just about as scarce as the Trumpet (another unsung variety waiting in the sidelines for their day to shine)
