Is this coin still valued at $11 or does the circulation damage lower the value? What would it grade?

I believe it's just 90% scrap now . Impaired proof although the reverse does not look proof to me .

T-BOP I agree about the reverse not looking like a proof. I thought the same thing but finally was able to see the mirror like background on the reverse. Just another bad photo, I apologize . I can't seem to get a good pic of a highly reflective coin. I'm working on a new set up though.

I struggle with this too. I think that we have plenty of company. Nice find though--if nothing else good to pick up silver at face value.

IMHO,it has no collector value only silver value. Finding impaired proof coins is always cool though.

The only time impaired proofs are worth anything extra is when the coin is very rare. They made over 3 million 1961 proof quarters - not rare, never will be rare.
