It's funny how the shades are a little different on these 2 pics. Took both, natural light, set for macro on camera, mounted on a tri-pod. I took the reverse maybe a minute after the obverse, yet they come out different. The back ground to me looks blueish. Both are on a #18 gray scale card. I only took time between the pics to flip the coin over... LOL, soo much to learn, so little time. It is the same coin but sure looks different thanks to the tones. Some day.....

You could always make adjustments after the fact to dial in the images to the true look. What post-processing program do you have?
As for the coin itself, AU50 unless there is still some original mint lustre that is not obvious in the photos.
