I'm pretty sure this coin is from Morocco but I'm having a hard time identifying it. It's 22m and weighs 4.3 grams. I think the year is 1280. Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like a falus.

Though the dimensions are a bit off from what's in the Numista listing: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces82593.html

It may be a contemporary counterfeit of the 2-falus or just more carelessly made than usual. The mint name should be on the top and the date is below. 1280 hijri = AD 1863/4. In the case of your coin, the mint name Fas (Fez) is written pretty well but the date is backward. Compare this example at Zeno: https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=171735.

Apparently the inverted date is a known error: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces22378.html

I actually thought it was a plausible mistake by Moroccan engravers, who probably weren't that familiar with European Arabic numerals. Inverted dates do show up on coins every so often.
