I came across this in a shop's "junk" silver bin today. Neither rare nor in this case high grade by any means, but I felt it was still too nice not to be rescued from likely eventual destruction by smelting.
I don't much collect Australian coins these days (achieved my goals decades ago), but with my British heritage, and my American family connections, I collect in these areas with equal enthusiasm.
Both and the U.S. and Australia have had British coinage in circulation before the inception of an indigenous coinage.
Have 200+ coins of both U.S. and the U.K., covering the last 200 years, in all metals.
