Another possibility for ANACS. And I had a little help finding this one from none other than the guy that discovered the variety. Thanks Stoneman! 1934 Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die DDR-005 Edited by tropicalbats 02/10/2019 7:54 pm

Looks like 1934P-1DR-004on coppercoins.com. I think I see the marker on the left leaf. I could not see the one above "WE".

Very cool coin. If you do end up sending this to ANACS, It will be neat to see what it grades! Congrats!

Looks like two different reverses to me. The hub doubling is slightly different:

Coop, you may be right. I thought there was only one reverse that looked more or less like this, DDR-005 and 1DR-004. I bought this one as a cherrypick going by 1DR-004 but listed it here as DDR-005 without checking the cross reference. So yes, it is 1DR-004 but I need to take a look as seems likely I cross referenced it wrongly.

I just checked and you do have the die chip on the left wheat grains like the coppercoins example.

Sry TB , that's an easy miss . Bob at Coppercoins had at one point cross referenced 005 with my coin and I had to send him a note. The best way to tell the two apart is the doubling on the bottom of the O of ONE is on opposite sides of the letter. I never sent my coin to Wexler or VV. So this die is only on CC.

DrDon;
A very close, but the 'N' in CENT doesn't match.

Finally got a chance to look at all this and Stoneman cleared it up first anyway. This is 1934-1DR-004, NOT DDR-005. They are different coins, and dang it now there's still another one out there I have to try and track down. And the search goes on...
Thanks everyone for the kind words and setting me straight on this one. I take some pride in attention to detail but have been too run around the last two days to do my due diligence properly. Sorry about that. Wonder if I can figure out how to change the title with an edit.

At least you got in right before sending it to be graded.
