Hello,
Can someone take a look at the Liberty and In God for me?
I'm familiar with the MD, but this one I'm not so sure about.
The doubling looks a lot deeper than the typical coin, especially in 'Lib'.
Thoughts?
I can upload more pictures if needed.

Thanks,

Shawn

It is the classic Machine Doubling. Note how all the affected devices are reduced in size, look flat on those areas because the machine removed the contour of the devices. and all show the same color on those areas. Note on LIBERTY you can see the same color on the left side of the devices and on the right side of them you can see the contour showing the lighter color to dark. MD on the left side, normal on the right. Not a doubled die. The devices would be enlarged if it were a doubled die. When they are reduced they are machine doubled. (damaged after the normal strike)

Yep. Machine Doubling. There's also some Die Deterioration present as well.
Errers and Varietys.
