1971 P LMC If I Didnt Know What Caused This I'd Think It Was A DDR.

I found this 1971 P LMC and if I didn't know what caused this I would have bet money it was a new DDR simply because of the thickness in the words ONE CENT. Ahhh, its just not meant to be.

Looks like Die Deterioration to me. Lots of die flow and those dots around UNITED I've only seen on very late die state coins from the early 70's.

That's exactly what it is. Like I stated, if I didn't know what it was I would swear it's a DDR. Crazy how you can see the die flow on the upper devises but not on the lower.
