I know nothing about coins but I thought this one one interesting. It is very thin and is smaller in diameter too.

It looks like it possibly sat in hydrocloric acid and the acid ate away at the nickel, reducing its size.

@AKG, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes this nickel spent some time in acid and this has eaten away at the features. Weird to look at, but only worth face value.
