One of my first coins. (New to collecting) even though I love this coin and probably would not part with it, I would like know more about it and get a sense of its value. Thank you in advance for your continued help!& 🏻

I see possible MD on the nose/forehead, but you really need to explain what you see and give a little direction for us.

No worries on cleaning it, unless you know how to clean a coin.
Leave it alone... lol

We can see what is going on with a clear picture and a little input on what you think you are seeing on the coin...

Ahhh... I think you are asking about the lumpy surface of the coin? Well 1983 is a zinc cent. Zinc cents tend to bubble and rot... some can look super bumpy...

Is that what you are asking about?

I would say you coin is a bit misaligned on the obverse, or off center. Would need to see the reverse to determine.

The only thing that I can see is a Ridge Ring and that is from Die Deterioration. Normal cent from what I see but not sure what exactly we're looking for.

I just see that it is slightly misaligned or off center... but nothing big! I am thinking just MD on the forehead and nose...

Thank you everyone... the cool bumps, which I like, on the face was the main question. Zinc rot causing the bubbling. Very unique and now I know & . Thanks again!
