I always hate it when I am doing a search on ebay for pre-1958 cent proofs and half of them are "proof like", proof with an MS number or even proof and it is an business strike. I am working on my photo skills and can only take pictures when the kids are sleeping. I have a bunch to photograph that I recently acquired, 1909-S VDB, 1926-S MS64RD, and a bunch of varieties and errors pieces that I have found in the last few weeks. Report this Post to the Staff

markn Pillar of the Community Australia 1295 Posts	Posted 07/07/2007 6:05 pm Hi Gary, Yes, it was minted in Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay) in India. The reverse has long denticles which actually makes it a rare variety and worth a fair bit more than I paid for it if I could find someone to buy it. I like the toning too, but I suspect it's been dipped in something in it's life. You dont see toning like that on Australian coins. Mark Report this Post to the Staff
