I just realized that I must have an 1878 S Morgan with VAM 54 (Doubled Profile) It fits the description perfectly on Vamworld. It says that it has a 4th broken star and that the r in trust is broken. This has a broken r on trust (on the reverse). I see the 4th star broken. I also clearly see a doubled profile. ANACS has only graded 4 of these! Here are the images! VAMWORLD does not even have an image of this VAM yet! Please let me know what you think. Thanks....I am new at this.

Is this raw, or in a holder? Would need better, upright pics of both sides. I blew it up as best I could, I don't see the double profile but that could be because of the bad pic.

This coin is "raw"....but I do plan on having ANACS authenticate it. The doubling in the profile is amazing. I am sorry it does not show up well in the photo. I had another Morgan silver dollar that also had a "double profile" and this one was authenticated by ANACS. This double profile is much better than the other coin I sent into ANACS. I will probably then have David Lawrence sell the coin at auction. David Lawrence sold the last double profile Morgan for me......along with an old Canadian Coin. Thanks for looking. If it comes back with VAM 54 on the holder, I will have to re-upload a photo of it in the new holder.
