1982 LMC Large Date Copper New Variety? Or A Cool Die Clash?

Hot off the COIN ROLL HUNTING press (15 min ago).

This coin is a little beat up but I am sure you can see the it from the full screen view. "T" "Y" in the first 2 bays.. other stuff going on will have to take a closer look later.

So, is it a clash or a new discovery?

Looks like it could be a Die clash showing the TY of LIBERTY, but I'm not really sure. An expert should be along soon.

Yep... Die Clash. Nice example... I have yet to find one with LIB clash... mine are always the outline if Lincoln in the bays...

wow! I always search the 1996 and 2000 for the extra lettering at the bottom and always wondered how they got there. NOW I KNOW.

Probably be cause of the shape of the die, just those letters show.
