coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/14/2019 2:41 pm When I used to be able to view all the PCGS images for this year, that year/mint had to be the most submitted for grading. Hundreds of machine doubled examples were submitted. Just a few examples were the real deal. The rest: Normal coins. (PCGS doesn't note anything about Machine Doubling. They just give the coin a grade. Most of the real DDO's were machine doubled also: Note arrows. Report this Post to the Staff

Even on the altered 1969-S DDO's note the Machine Doubling will be different from strike to strike, where as the DDO normal devices are the same except for the alteration of the MD.
