This coin appears to have several issues all at one.

Several raised spots that are HARD, AND NO ZINC IS SHOWING.
Obverse Ghosting behind Lincoln's Bust, and above the Date.
Struck Through on Reverse.
And issues at the rim on both Obverse and Reverse.

Let the discussions begin.

Dan

Plating Bubbles, Struck Through Grease a little bit, and Die Deterioration. All of these are common issues for this date and mint.

The raised spots are hard. No zinc showing anywhere.
Also what about the ghosting.

Just to be clear, when you press on them with a wooden toothpick, they don't dent at all?

OK yes interesting. I'm inclined to think that these are not plating bubbles then. That would leave, I think, either material between the zinc core and the copper plating or else a die gouge.

The widened devices are a Struck Through Grease error.
