Is It True About The VDB Putting On Lincoln Cents From 1918 To Present

Can you please advise me that the 1918 Lincoln Cent Hattie VDB on it then from that point it was issued up until present date only on a different location on the president's right sleeve on the bottom? Thank you

The VDB returned to the cent in 1918 and has been on Lincoln's shoulder ever since then. There are some years that are known for excessive die polishing that polished the initials off individual dies. 1989 is well known for that but it happens in other years as well.
