The 1917 looks like someone put a saw to it, I looked at it with a good glass and it don't look like a saw Kerf, and I work in a metal shop.
The other is missing last digit in date...Any thoughts?

The one on the left is damaged. Need more images of the one on the right. It might be damaged or it might be a thinned planchet. Just need to see more of the coin to see what is there.

The 1917-S is definitely damage. Are you able to weigh the 1946-S? It could be a tapered planchet but we'd need an accurate weight to know for sure.

The 46-s might be a Grease Filled Die. The 17-s is PMD.

To CCF! Try weighing it again. The correct weight is supposed to be 3.1 grams.

A normal Wheat cent should be 3.1g. A Wheat cent with a tapered planchet should be under 3g. 3.3g is the opposite of what I expected.

Try weighing other wheat cents to see if the scale is accurate (3.1g is normal).
