So I found this the other night and I'm just not sure what this is.. Definetly is double die..the planchet? It seems to be coming up and out.. Sorry the pics arent the best.the reverse has doubling as well but why is it highlighted blue? Ive never seen anything like it! Opinions please!

Not a Doubled Die. Just Machine Doubling and Split Plate Doubling.

Please rotate photos properly before posting. It would be called a doubled die,not double die. Your coin is not a doubled die. As said,it is MD. The "blue" you see is the zinc core showing where the copper plating has split.

I cant figure out the rotate portion of the editing page! It keeps saying aww snap! Then I have to start all over! I tried what it said to do and it wouldnt work! Sorry...

it helps to take your pics with the coin in the upright first.you can try to flip them on your computer too. good luck

Lol.. I do take the pics right side up! I use my phone to do this.. Dont understand why it does that.. Hence the apology... So bottom line, the planchet is nothing?
