It is difficult to say, but my first thought is that you have some sort of glue on your coin. I bet all of that can be removed to reveal a normal looking coin.

@Soad1030, first welcome to CCF. Second, you will find that as more folks wake up this morning, you will get additional opinions--please be patient with us. Third, I agree with @spruette that your cent has a layer of dried glue on it. When the glue was still wet, another coin was pressed against this one. You do not have a mint error and this coin is worth face value.

To CCF! It's not an error at all. It's just some type of residue stuck on your coin, which is Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

when you see the letters backwards it is a transfer from an other coin. sorry just a penny , try to post your pics a little bigger and zoom in on the area you want us to look at thanks , good luck and happy hunting
